Strategising your Glow Up after Adversity

This is a practical introductory online workshop to help you create a strategy for improving your physical and mental well-being after adversity.

What’s it about?

Many people have gone through adversity and trauma and find it difficult to get to a place where they are wholeheartedly satisfied with their physical and emotional well-being. The phrase ‘glow up’ is attributed to being in that place. It is an internal to external transformation and it is reached by actively doing the work so that you can positively move through and past adversity. This session provides the space to do some quality thinking around how to create a strategy for the glow up.  

By the end of the session, you will have: 

  1. Briefly explored techniques for overcoming adversity
  2. Decided on an area of your well-being that you are committed to improving
  3. Identified and addressed any limiting beliefs
  4. Explored a range of methods and techniques available to you
  5. Written a basic plan on how to move forward

Participants will need to bring a pen, paper and an open mind to this session.

This forms part of the online Yoga-Fit virtual activity week in replacement of the live event that was due to take place in Spain but has been postponed due to the current pandemic.

This session is delivered by Rebbecca Hemmings who is a cancer survivor, training and development professional and fitness presenter.
